Research4Life provides institutions in low-and middle-income countries with free or low-cost, online access to academic and professional peer-reviewed content. Content includes tens of thousands of peer-reviewed international scientific journals, publications, and databases.
Local, not-for-profit institutions from two groups of eligible countries, areas and territories may apply to register with Research4LIfe for access. Eligible institutions include:
- national universities
- professional schools
- research institutes
- teaching hospitals and healthcare centres
- government offices
- national libraries
- agricultural extension centres
- local, non-governmental organizations
