Status of the WCPFC with ER/EM Reporting

Review of WCPFC membership and vessels.
Technical compliance committee encourages EM reporting and highlights requirements. Also reviews key points from ER EM workshop held in July 2015.
Review of WCPFC Secretariat responsiblities to:
a) develop and maintain the technical and administrative systems that ensure data confidentiality needed to receive electronically reported data from Members;
b) acknowledge, upon receipt of e-reporting data from a Member or as appropriate from a vessel, receipt of data and indicate to the Member (and/or vessel) in a timely mananer whether the data meet the minimum requirements;
c) monitor data requirements and to ensure the electronic data standards are publically available and is suitably version controlled.
