Report of the First Meeting of the Seabird Bycatch Working Group of the Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels, Valdivia, Chile 17-18 June 2007

Agenda Item 3 focused on information sharing and included presentations highlighting initiatives specific to seabird conservation in longline, hook-and-line, and trawl fisheries. In particular, the intention was to provide an update on a similar information exchange that took place at a Pelagic Mitigation Workshop held in Hobart, Australia in October 2006 (AC3/Inf 18). Workshop participants and invitees provided brief summaries of their presentations.
