Reviews observer database inlcuding shark record and when different species were added to the purse seine observer program. Followed by future objectives of the tuna purse seine fishery data collection program including the potential use of EMS to monitor: bycatch of Class 2-5 vessels; and FAD activity on Class 2-5 vessels.
