An evaluation of the reliability of electronic monitoring and logbook data for informing fisheries science and management: Gillnet Hook and Trap Sector

For the Gillnet, Hook and Trap fishery this report assesses the congruence between electronic monitoring (cameras) and fishers own reported logbook data. In general, congruence for most retained catch was high, but lower for discarded catch, and varied significantly between individual boats. AFMA will use the results to consider improvements to their electronic monitoring program.
