Abstract
The ISC Shark Working Group (SHARKWG) used two stock assessment approaches to examine
the status of blue shark (Prionace glauca) in the North Pacific Ocean: a Bayesian Surplus
Production (BSP) model; and an age-based statistical catch-at-length model. These efforts provide an updated assessment of North Pacific blue shark based on the 2013 SHARKWG
assessment.
