Abstract

An information sheet aimed to expand knowledge of non-scientific community in the IOTC region on the depredation on pelagic longline gears is presented. An approach to increase information flow between local fishermen and IOTC through commission’s website is discussed. Draft voluntary depredation reporting form for small-scale fisherman is proposed.
