Recommendation by ICCAT Concerning the Conservation of Sharks Caught in Association with Fisheries Managed by ICCAT
Description
Establishes a limit on the ratio of fin weight to total shark weight that can be retained onboard a fishing vessel.
Encourages the release of live sharks in fisheries that do not target sharks.
Amended by Recommendation 05-05 (which has been replaced by Recommendation 14-06).
